Next Friday we’re opening up pre-orders for Magic of Myths: season two. Then you’ll get the chance to buy a copy of the book, delivered to you for launch day, 26th July 2013.
And we’re doing something very special for pre-orders.
Everyone who pre-orders a copy of the book, will receive a LIMITED EDITION copy of Magic of Myths: season two.
This consists of:
– The main story (67 pages, across four chapters – that’s over twice the story material of season one) and the following extras:
– A special, limited edition cover (of which you can see an early version above)
– Seven pin-ups (with some of the artwork you’ve seen on this very site) by Magic of Myths artist, Sergio Calvet
– A sketchbook section
– The full script to Issue three (which is the big turning point) of season two, along with commentary from the creative team
– A free digital version of the book
Furthermore, the first 10 pre-orders will receive an exclusive sketch from Sergio, featuring any character you want from Magic of Myths – your choice.
Be warned:
This edition of Magic of Myths: season two is limited to the point where once we stop taking pre-orders at the end of June, the Limited Edition of the book will NO LONGER BE IN PRINT.
So to own this version of the book, you’ll need to pre-order *before* 1st July 2013. Once it’s gone, it’s gone – you’ll still be able to buy Magic of Myths: season two after that, but it’ll be the regular edition *without* the above extras.
Pre-orders will be open from 31st May 2013. The first 10 will get a sketch from Sergio, along with their book when Magic of Myths: season two launches on 26th July 2013. If you want to be in with a chance to win a sketch as soon the pre-orders start, we strongly recommend signing up to this site using the side-bar on the right (near the top of the page) so you know as soon as the pre-orders go live.
New to Magic of Myths and want both season one and two?
You’ll be able to buy season one *and* the Limited Edition of season two at a combined, discounted rate. There are plans for a combined ‘all-in-one’ book as well, but this will be just the regular editions, so again, without the extras which are exclusive to the Limited Edition.

We’re nearly there…
We’ll be opening up the Magic of Myths: season two pre-orders at the end of the month, but in the run-up we’ll be revealing what you can expect for the second entry of this fantasy graphic novel series. The first is the cover:
‘Tempus‘ is the sub-title of season two – why, will become clear when you read it…
As for that release date:
Magic of Myths: season two launches on 26 July 2013. So, just a couple months off.
We’ll be taking pre-orders by the end of May, where we’ll be offering you the chance to own a very special copy of the book.

Inspired by the good people over at Magic of Myths’ ‘half-sister site’ Unseen Shadows, we’ve decided to celebrate International Women’s Day 2013 by giving away digital copies of Magic of Myths: season one and Magic of Myths: 2013 preview for free. There really aren’t enough female driven comics out there, so we’re very proud to be creators of a growing graphic novel series.
However, we’re not just celebrating International Woman’s Day 2013 – this Sunday is also Mother’s Day in the UK and Ireland (and also Nigeria, for our overseas representatives 😉 ). So, to celebrate that – or MoM’s day, if you’d like (oh how we’ve waited to re-use that one) – as well, we’re extending this free offer until Monday 11th March 2013.

Sergio’s added some colour to our first double page spread for Magic of Myths: season two – so now you can see it in all its sunset-hued, gory glory:

During our creative discussions for season one, we decided to give the gods a bronze or gold plated (depending on their allegiance) statue look to add to their glittering – or tarnished – larger than life visage. As big fans of the legendary Ray Harryhausen, this double page spread brings together our references to his work, as well as being a big moment for the story.
We won’t give away much more info on this spread, but if you’re wondering (quick bolded clue, there for DC Comics fans) who the vicious lady with the sword is in the battle – that would be Diana, Roman goddess of the hunt and the moon…
