One of the hardest working artists in the comic book industry*, Sergio has already jumped from initial pencil designs to a full-blown colour pin-up of Eve from Magic of Myths: season two.  Take a look:

Eve V.2 - from pencils...

...to inks and colours.

More to come!

*During 2011 Sergio somehow managed to turn out the equivalent of 24 pages a month of pencilled, inked, (and often coloured and lettered) comics for a whole year, while still holding an unrelated full-time job. In the Marvel universe, Sergio would clearly be a member of the X-Men.

Happy New Year!

We hope 2012 is treating you well so far. As the first entry of the year, we thought it would be nice to kick things off with a bang, so we’re starting to trickle out some behind the scenes work on our second graphic novel, Magic of Myths: season two, which is currently being written and designed.

Sergio has already begun on the character work for the book, and as you’ll see Eve’s armour has gone through a little evolution… for reasons you’ll discover in season two, this summer.

Thought Bubble came… and went. And it was fantastic.

Magic of Myths at Thought Bubble

Magic of Myths writer Corey Brotherson was there, sharing a table with the very talented Skal creator Jennie Gyllblad (who is also the artist/co-creator of several projects Corey is working on, including Clockwork Watch, Bayou Arcana: Irons in the Fire and Butterflies and Moths) and Magic of Myths: season one  sold well, and there was lots of positive feedback.

We can only say a massive thank you to everyone who passed by the table, had a chat, picked up a bookmark or purchased a copy of the book. Without your support we’d never got this far, so thank you so much.

We’ll hope to keep going as we enter 2012, with Magic of Myths: season two in the works. Let’s see where it takes us… and Eve…
