Yes, a brand new Magic of Myths story is coming your way – artist and co-creator Sergio Calvet has been working not only on the initial designs for Season 3, but also on a new short story called Magic of Myths: Dusk.

We won’t say much more (yet), other than it’s our first venture into the Norse mythology side of the Magic of Myths universe, so it should provide a distinctly different style of tale. Have a quick look at some pencil sketches and get ready for more previews in the coming weeks.

And if you’re one of our new readers from the many conventions we’ve been doing over the past few months, welcome and thanks for all your support!

Just a small yet significant update for you.

First, Magic of Myths will be attending MCM London from tomorrow until Saturday, sharing a table with eternal collaborators Clockwork Watch. Head over to table CF9 in the Comics Village and say hi! And if you came by our table for The Lakes Comic Arts Festival a couple of weeks ago, thank you so much, your support is appreciated, as always.

And the surprise? Well, while we’re working hard on Season 3, there may be something else from the Magic of Myths stable coming, too.

Another announcement?

Why, yes.

Another announcement.

We know – it’s about time, right?

We’ve been planning Magic of Myths: Season three for some time, but we’re finally ready to start putting the material together for a late 2018 launch. We’ll be feeding you details and news over the coming months, along with previews, but as a little thank you for sticking with us, here’s some exclusive and early sketches from Sergio’s art board for you to take a look at. This mysterious character is going to be super important to Eve’s journey from now until the end of the series itself…

And before we go – a massive thank you to those who swung by our table at Thought Bubble last week – we appreciate your support! We’ll be at another convention soon to round out the year, so expect more news on that soon.

What else is happening? Oh, nothing much… just San Diego Comic-Con July 6, 2015

Yup, for the third year running, Magic of Myths is hitting the super hot, super cool San Diego Comic Con this week!

So once more, from July 8 to 12 at the San Diego Convention Center (Small Press area, the Clockwork Watch Films table: O-08), you can find Magic of Myths writer Corey Brotherson sharing a table with Clockwork Watch creator Yomi Ayeni. They’ll have copies of Clockwork Watch: The Arrival, Clockwork Watch: Breakaway, Clockwork Watch: Tick Tock IPA 1 to 3, and, of course Magic of Myths: season one, Magic of Myths: season two and our popular Magic of Myths: Faerie making its US debut.

If you’re lucky enough to own a ticket to SDCC, come over to table O-08 and say hi! And remember, you can still order a copy of Magic of Myths: Faerie from https://gumroad.com/l/sjfk.

We’re always grateful when someone takes the time and effort to send us some artwork, but it’s extra special when the someone is a talented comic book creator – Corey was sent this incredible bit of artwork for his birthday, showing off Eve in a playful chibi style. We love it! Take a massive bow, Celina Hernandez!

You can see more of Celina’s wonderful art here and here – and Celina is one half of the awesome Chibi Comics team (the other half being the rather excellent Mike Murphy). Take a look at their top comics here: http://chibicomicspdx.tumblr.com/.

More updates coming…

Sorry for the absence – a bout of the dreaded Norovirus decided to make itself known. But we’ve still managed to produce some good news as Magic of Myths: Faerie is still on track for its 18th April 2015 at the Birmingham Comics Festival next month.

So, how about a look at the cover?

That’s right – our Shakespearean tale of magic, betrayal, gender, fantasy and reality is closer than you think. We’re proud to announce we’ll be launching Magic of Myths: Faerie at the Birmingham Comics Festival on 18th April 2015. That’s just a short couple of months away, so we’re hard at work putting the finishing touches to the book which will have – and already has, if you’ve been reading the books closely – far reaching consequences on Eve’s quest in the main Magic of Myths series.

Here’s the artwork we’ve revealed so far, but we’ll be showing you a lettered preview soon enough.
