Tap’s head has always been full of dreams – especially of becoming something more than what nature or tradition typically offer a young faun. And living in a house full of fabulous books, with their heroes, romance and epic feats, definitely doesn’t help to quench that yearning! Well, 2020 has been pretty… horrific so far, to say the least.
As with the rest of the world, dealing with the current COVID-19 situation has caused us to hunker down, take stock and refocus. We hope that you and your family staying safe and well during such difficult times.
As with everyone else, our plans have all been cancelled or delayed – and with numerous lockdowns in place, we decided to team up with Clockwork Watch and Deadlier Than… to offer you some free comics to help stave off boredom and offer a journey into the worlds of steampunk, science fantasy and folklore.

A belated Happy New Year!
We know it’s been a while – sorry about that. While personal things have been creating their usual ups and downs, we’ve been trying to stay the course and keep the good ship MoM afloat. The result is that 2019 will see a number of Magic of Myths related things coming to light.
*cue mysterious music*
Season 3 is still being worked on, but due to its sheer size (the entire of chapter one at the moment is already as big as the entire S1 of Magic of Myths, to give you some idea of just how big this book is going to be) we can’t say for certain it will launch this year. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be new Magic of Myths books on the way, along with a few other things… we’re aware that our audience has been growing, and with it new opportunities have been emerging, along with ideas of how to branch MoM outwards in different ways.
We’ll be revealing more in the coming months…

We’re happy to reveal that the latest entry to our Magic of Myths universe – Pipework – will launch on 13th October at The Lakes International Comic Arts Festival.
Sergio’s story about the good – and destructive – power of dreams will drop at the popular convention, so you will be able to pick up a copy there during that weekend. Yup, another surprise for you…
While we’ve been quiet on the site, a brand new Magic of Myths tale has been in the works – artist and co-creator Sergio Calvet has created another new short story called Magic of Myths: Pipework.
Fans of one of our more successful books, Magic of Myths: Faerie, will spot a lot of references to it in Pipework, as the story takes place after the events of that book. All while affecting the main storyline of Magic of Myths – in fact, some you may have already noticed if you’ve been paying particularly close attention…
We’ll be talking more about this fantasy tale soon, but in the meantime, here’s a little glimpse of its beautiful artwork for you to get your teeth into…
