Well, 2020 has been pretty… horrific so far, to say the least.
As with the rest of the world, dealing with the current COVID-19 situation has caused us to hunker down, take stock and refocus. We hope that you and your family staying safe and well during such difficult times.
As with everyone else, our plans have all been cancelled or delayed – and with numerous lockdowns in place, we decided to team up with Clockwork Watch and Deadlier Than… to offer you some free comics to help stave off boredom and offer a journey into the worlds of steampunk, science fantasy and folklore.

Both Magic of Myths: Pipework and Magic of Myths: Faerie now join Magic of Myths: Dusk in going free for a limited time, along with a selection of Clockwork Watch titles (The Arrival, Tick Tock #1 and Evolution #1) and Deadlier Than’s The Flower Girl.

Yup, the ComiXology love keeps on flowing.
Not only is the Sandman/Shakespeare inspired Magic of Myths: Faerie hitting its 5th print run this month, but the digital version has now arrived on the Amazon-owned comic book store, ComiXology for just a mere 69p / 99 cents. So, less than the cost of your average chocolate bar – and lasts longer, too.

Sorry for all the downtime – with a lot of things going on right now, we thought it best to say a quick something before time got away from us.
So, first of all, a massive thanks to anyone who stopped by the Magic of Myths/Clockwork Watch table or purchased a book at both Nottingham Comic Con and Thought Bubble in Leeds, recently. The books went down a storm and we were really happy with the response Magic of Myths: Faerie received.
Secondly, the Magic of Myths team will be going on a short break while a few personal issues are being resolved.
Magic of Myths is still going strong – our audience is bigger than it’s ever been and Faerie has been a wonderful success – and work on Season three is still ongoing (along with other secrets) so even though we may be quiet, please stay with us for the ride. There’s plenty news to come in 2016… promise.

It’s been a long time – sorry – but between more work behind the scenes and recovering from San Diego Comic Con, things have been a bit hectic. So expect a flurry of updates in the coming week…
First of all, a big thank you for anyone who stopped by to visit our table at SDCC. Magic of Myths: Faerie gained a great response at the show and we picked up a few more new readers in the process. Lots of pictures below from the con – including someone who looked just like Faerie’s protagonist, Robin – spooky!
We’ll be at two more cons in the UK later this year, so if you’ve not yet got your book, there will be plenty of chances to grab one (if you don’t want to buy one via mail order here) soon…
Speaking of which, our next update regards availability if you’re in London…

One of the most inspiring things we’ve heard all year about Magic of Myths: Faerie – the story has been used to teach year 10 students Shakespeare and drama at Leeds West Academy, due to its accessible use of Shakespearean language and themes.
We’re delighted to hear this, given Season one has already been used in another school to teach mythology.
If you want to use any of our books in your school, please get in touch.
