The super talented Sara Dunkerton has created a detailed process of how she created the impressive plush Byron, right here: saradunkerton.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/magic-of-myths-byron-plush-bear-pt-1.html.
It’s a great read and if you’re looking to get a toy custom made or want to learn how to create a plush, it’s invaluable – take a look!

Byron is all ready to meet his San Diego Comic-Con press eye-to-homicidal-eye…
Sara Dunkerton has done *incredible* work to bring Sergio’s artwork to life. This is what the popular Magic of Myths character looks like in our comic:
And this is what Sara started of with:
Which ended up as this:
Pretty amazing, don’t you think? Take a bow, Sara!
Byron will be making his public debut on the Clockwork Watch/Magic of Myths table at San Diego Comic-Con next week – we’ll take plenty of snaps for you to see how he’s received there!

It’s been a while since we checked in on Sara Dunkerton‘s work on the first Magic of Myths plush – let’s see how Byron is getting on, shall we?
The white paper is where his armour is going to be when Sara has finished – which will be very, very soon…

We’re delighted to announce that Magic of Myths will be attending the world-famous San Diego Comic Con next month!
No, we can hardly believe it, either.
From July 11 to 21 at the San Diego Convention Center (Small Press area, the Clockwork Watch Films table: O-08) you can find Magic of Myths writer Corey Brotherson sharing a table with Clockwork Watch creator Yomi Ayeni. They’ll have copies of Clockwork Watch: The Arrival, Clockwork Watch: Breakaway, debuting a new book called Clockwork Watch: Tick Tock IPA, and, of course Magic of Myths: season one, Magic of Myths: season two joining other goodies.
In fact, along with Clockwork Watch: Tick Tock IPA making its first appearance, we’ll also be debuting our Magic of Myths: season one and season two combo book!
This book will be on general sale at the end of July and contains Magic of Myths: season one and Magic of Myths: season two (regular edition). It’s the perfect introduction for anyone looking to get into Magic of Myths and get right up to speed without delay. We’ll have more details on this book closer to release.
We’ll also have very low numbers of Magic of Myths: season two (limited edition) to offer our American based audience the chance to grab a copy before it goes out of print forever. You still have a day to pre-order if you haven’t already: http://wp.me/pSxcG-g6.
You can check out Clockwork Watch Films via the hall map, here: www.comic-con.org/cci/2013/small-press/exhibitors.
If you’re around for the Con, we hope to see you there!
